• Isolate the affected systems to prevent further spread, but avoid shutting them down entirely to preserve volatile memory. Disconnecting all network capabilities should suffice. (Wired and wireless, including Bluetooth and/or NFC if applicable)

• DO NOT DELETE ANYTHING! Our goal is to preserve logs and evidence, including traffic data, encrypted files, and ransom notes. 

• Notify your legal and insurance teams to ensure compliance with data breach notification laws.

• Contact your financial institution immediately if any fraudulent wire transfers or financial transactions are involved or you suspect financial information may have been breached or obtained.
